Job Summary:
Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Trauma Medical Director to lead the Level III trauma and acute care surgery services in El Paso, TX.Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board certified in General Surgery with experience in a trauma program or BC/BE in Surgical Critical Care
- Provide leadership in the clinical management of trauma services
- Minimum of fifteen, 24-hour unrestricted call shifts per month in addition to at least 1 day in outpatient clinic per week
- Inpatient trauma and acute care with a rotation in an Outpatient clinic
- Experience in laparoscopic and robotics preferred
- Level III Trauma program: Registry volume 823, Trauma Admissions 414, Blunt 321, Penetrating 10
- Texas medical license, or eligible for Texas licensure
- Must be ATLS Certified
